Integration platform RITM³

Real-time management of a city's entire transport system is possible!

For this purpose, SIMETRA has developed the RITM³ integration platform. The flexibility of the platform is ensured by its modular architecture and the ability to integrate all subsystems for monitoring and control of the traffic system (traffic monitoring systems, surveillance cameras, traffic flow sensors, traffic management systems, etc.).

RITM³ is being developed as a unified transport system management platform and has the following modular system:

Traffic Control Center (Situation Center)

The module visualizes the actual traffic situation, calculates the current traffic congestion on the road network, and provides a short-term forecast of the traffic situation, to improve the decision-making process for traffic management and road infrastructure facilities.

Interactive transport Master plan

The module displays on a map all measurements developed within the framework of the transport planning documents, where users can use a timeline to visualize the sequence of implementation stages within the considered event horizons.

Modelling of traffic flows

The module allows to integrate already existing transport models created within the implementation of transport and infrastructure development projects into RITM³, and to edit and update them. When integrated with PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, MATSim and SUMO software, this module can also perform calculations directly from the platform interface and visualize the results.

Vehicle monitoring

The module allows automation and visualization of the monitoring of objects (vehicles or persons) moving on the road network and carrying out various types of services. Vehicle fleets, taxi fleets or utility vehicles, etc. can be monitored.

Traffic Light Management

The module provides close interaction between controller of traffic lights, sensors for adaptive optimizing of traffic signal programs, and other ITS top-level modules such as modelling of traffic flows, public transport management, and others.
