Standards and methodologies

SIMETRA experts are directly involved in the preparation and development of new standards and guidelines for the application of traffic forecasting and modelling methodologies to assess infrastructure projects.

SIMETRA is an active member of the Association of Transport Engineers (ATI) and regularly participates in discussions on new standards, methodologies, and codes of practice for the transport sector, which are subsequently adopted and implemented locally by federal and regional public authorities.

Handbooks, practical and training manuals

SIMETRA, together with the Association of Transport Engineers, prepares and publishes guidelines for transport models, training manuals for universities, practical recommendations for federal, regional, and local public authorities on mobility management, public transport reliability, and evaluation of infrastructure and transport projects.

Standard on traffic forecasting

SIMETRA experts developed the first Russian standard "Recommendations for forecasting traffic intensity on toll road sections of the State Company Avtodor and revenues from their operation" STO Avtodor 2.2−2013.

SIMETRA aims to provide a methodological framework that substantiates the basic methodological principles and approaches for traffic forecasting.
